Course Overview

This course is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills needed to cultivate an agile mindset and effectively utilise Jira Software as a powerful tool for agile project management. This course combines the principles of agile methodologies with practical hands-on experience using Jira Software, a popular project management and issue-tracking software. Learners will gain a deep understanding of Jira Software and how it can be used to support agile practices.

2 Use Jira Software Cloud to track progress, identify and address issues, and manage team collaboration
3 Use Jira Software Cloud's reporting and analytics tools to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement

Those with some Agile knowledge but keen to implement Agile Scrum in the context of Jira Software Cloud.

  • Covers how to use Jira Software to manage Agile projects, including creating and managing sprints, backlogs, and releases. It also covers how to use Jira Software to track team progress and report on project status.

  • Achieves Learning Outcome 5
  • Hands-on experience in managing an agile project from start to finish using Jira. Using a project simulation, learners will apply key agile principles and practices to plan, execute, and deliver an Agile product/outcome in a simulated environment
